‘Grey’s Anatomy,’ ‘Scandal’ creator Shonda Rhimes set to release book ‘A Year of Yes’

The future -Clearly, Shonda Rhimes is a master of time management more than just about every other person alive. How else do you explain the fact that she is the chief creative force behind “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Scandal,” an executive producer on “How to Get Away with Murder” along with the upcoming “The Catch,” while at the same time also having the time to write a book?

We’ve known for a little while now that Rhimes was planning to publish something before we made it to the end of the year, and now we know that this book will be titled A Year of Yes. In this book, she will explain how some decisions that she made in her life to be more adventurous and bold led to her becoming one of the biggest creative forces in television. The book will be coming out in November, and Rhimes had the following to say in a statement (per Entertainment Weekly):

“Saying yes for an entire year turned out to be one of the most amazing decisions I have ever made … It was also a little insane, a lot terrifying and sometimes wildly embarrassing. So this is not a story I ever planned to share with anyone. However, once Simon & Schuster asked me, I had no choice—what else could I say but yes?”

Rhimes may have had a tiny bit of time off at some point in the past month or so, but that’s not going to last given that there are scripts to write for her upcoming shows, and all of them will likely begin filming either in July or in August.
