‘Shark Tank’ revisited: PhoneSoap, GreenBox, Victoria’s Kitchen, Tycoon Real Estate, GrooveBook

The latest -Shark Tank” is, as you most likely know, in repeats until it returns in September. However, we’re not going anywhere! We are going to give you tiny updates on every product throughout the summer, right around the time that their new episode airs. What we have for you this time are some updates from a show that aired at the end of January, which featured everything from new beverages to pizza boxes. Some received investments, and some did not.

In addition to the products below (click on the link to be directed to their official site), this episode also features yet another update on GrooveBook, one of the most successful businesses in the history of the series.

Victoria’s Kitchen – Do we think this is going to become the next huge beverage brand? Probably not, mostly because convincing Americans to drink a new sort of beverage isn’t easy. Still, they’ve done a great job of hustling without a shark, and working to get into some major retailers since the show. Also, you can still order them online.

GreenBox – This environmentally-friendly innovation to the standard pizza box had an investment from Kevin O’Leary, and they have picked up some traction seemingly since the show with many pizza chains. They still haven’t gotten many of the big dogs in the industry aboard; maybe they will eventually, but their challenge may still be lowering their cost to the point that it is the perfect combination of being low-price and great PR for major companies.

Tycoon Real Estate – This company has shifted over to Access Equity Crowdinvesting, which seems to be mostly a larger platform for what they were already doing. We really cannot speak much to their success, mostly because this is so far out of our personal realm of expertise.

PhoneSoap – They received an investment from Lori Greiner, and while we’re still not sure everyone wants to take the time to learn about proper phone hygiene, it feels business is on the up-and-up here and that their products for eliminating germs from your phone are a must if you spend almost all day texting and browsing.
