‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: What’s next for Shawn Booth, Kupah James, Kaitlyn Bristowe?

Tonight, “The Bachelorette” reminded us of many things, including that JJ is incredibly smug, Tony is completely out there, and Clint got himself off to a great start courtesy of the first one-on-one date. Basically, the foundation was placed for almost everything to come up moving forward.

So what are we set to see next week? Based on the promo that aired after tonight’s episode… oh wait, there wasn’t a promo at all! The show decided to instead leave us on a cliffhanger featuring Kaitlyn Bristowe going out to confront Kupah James, who she had already eliminated for basically talking his way out of being in her favor. She really liked him, but then he started questioning her, getting paranoid, and arguing over everything. Then, he practically begged her to stay before berating production outside.

We’re not entirely sure why Kaitlyn still wanted to deal with this guy (we wouldn’t), but we hope next week is spent more with the likable guys. Remember First Impression Rose recipient Shawn Booth? It’d be nice to see more of him. What about Ben Zorn, Cupcake Chris, or Jared now that he is seemingly feeling better?

Of course, we could be down for some other fun shenanigans. Given that Tony was not eliminated tonight, that means we get one more episode getting to see some of his unique personality … which some probably just find to be insane. Personally, we file it under “entertaining.” He hasn’t had a whole lot of time with just Kaitlyn, so we have not seen exactly what their connection is.
