‘The Bachelorette’ spoilers: Watch Amy Schumer roast JJ Lane (video)

On Monday night’s new episode of “The Bachelorette,” Kaitlyn Bristowe is going to have a little bit of help when it comes to testing some of her suitors’ ability to get on stage and perform. Specifically, she’s getting it from one of the biggest comedians working right now in Amy Schumer. The Comedy Central staple and star of the upcoming “Train Wreck” movie will be trying to give the guys some pointers as to how to deliver a good set … potentially to disastrous results.

Just in the sneak peek video below, we have some puns that are truly deplorable. In addition to that, we also have contestant JJ Lane getting hilariously blasted by Amy for having little charisma and no humility. We imagine that this is probably just the tip of the iceberg.

The challenge here for these guys is trying to find the right balance. They want to be edgy enough to get Kaitlyn’s attention, but at the same time they don’t want to offend her or anyone else. We’ve seen in the past just how quickly things can go south after a bad joke.

This date is one of two on Monday night’s episode featuring a surprise guest. We know already that Laila Ali is also going to be featured in one themed around boxing, which could end up leading to a wide array of various injuries and anger depending on the men involved. We’d rather watch a comedy date than something physical almost any day of the week.
