‘Dancing with the Stars’ 20 finale results: Did Rumer Willis, Riker Lynch, or Noah Galloway win?

DWTS -Dancing with the Stars” aired its season 20 finale on Tuesday night, and while this season has been pretty nuts, it felt like there was going to be a showdown between two people in Rumer Willis and Riker Lynch. Both of them had an advantage of eight points going in from the judges over Noah Galloway, but given the size of his fanbase and his inspirational story, it was not unheard of by any means that he could find a way to finish with the Mirrorball Trophy.

The one non-filler segment of the night is the 24-hour fusion dances performed by the stars. We’re not sure if pushing the contestants to their physical limit is great entertainment or not, but this is something that the series has started to do on a fairly regular basis. They can always sleep on the flight to “Good Morning America” after the fact!

Producers took there time and even injected some more of Patti LaBelle’s musical talents before the results, but when they were finally revealed, Noah and Sharna Burgess finished in third. No major surprise there at all.

Then, the big announcement: Rumer and Val Chmerkovskiy are the winners! We thought that Riker may have had a real shot at this, but the voters did a great job in choosing the person who was actually the most consistent dancer throughout the competition as the champ. She showed improvement, and at the same time everything you would want in a great dancer.
