‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 12 spoilers: Ready for some Arizona scoop?

“Grey’s Anatomy” has been renewed for a twelfth season, and we can only hope that this is one that takes some of the characters we already know and love in some new, exciting directions.

When it comes to Arizona, let’s just hope that there is something that will give her a chance to actually figure out what her future can be. As Jessica Capshaw herself says to TVLine, she is hoping for what she calls a “peaceful coexistence” for her character in Callie, who broke up during season 11 and there is no sign per se that a reconciliation is on the cards for the near future. She hopes that they are “moving toward a place where they can actually broach subjects that are tough for ex-wives,” and it will be interesting to see now if that actually happens.

What we personally find to be rather interesting is that there was an early draft of the finale that saw Arizona get at least some forward movement in her life, but this was unfortunately cut aside thanks to a certain extent to what was going on with some of the other craziness taking place in “You’re My Home.” We don’t necessarily know that it had anything to do with Callie, but we are still hopeful for the future of these two characters.

We expect “Grey’s Anatomy” to be back with some new episodes at some point in late September, but we imagine that we will have a whole lot more in the way of scoop on that soon enough.
