‘Arrow’ season 3 spoilers: An epic finale tease from Stephen Amell
How nervous should you be over the events of the “Arrow” finale? We’re not sure when it comes to character deaths or anything crazy like that. As a matter of fact, “nervous” in general may just be the wrong sort of word to use when describing this episode. Instead, finding one like “excited” or “anxious” may be more appropriate. Based on what Stephen Amell wrote on Twitter Friday, this one is going to be jam-packed full of awesome.
Clearly, the guy knows that this is not a series finale, and that part of the tweet was intentional. What we really think that he means by this here is mostly that this could be one of the big episodes that really changes the entire course of the show. In some ways, maybe the story feels entirely different once this one is over, and Oliver realizes that he wants to go down a very different path in life. The finale is entitled “My Name Is Oliver Queen” for a reason, and we feel like one of the primary reasons for that is strictly that he finally starts to assume a normal identity again.
Of course, we do know already that the story of Damien Darhk and HIVE could surface, as well, since that has been among the top rumors for what we could expect to see.
For now, all we can assume is that there will be action, Oliver will square off against Ra’s al Ghul, and that Barry Allen will be stopping by at least at one point as The Flash. Also, we hear that the show is not really trying to give you some sort of crazy cliffhanger this time around.
