‘The X Factor’ UK rumors: More on Mel B, Louis Walsh’s future
For more on this, we turn to Sinitta, a Simon Cowell confidante and musical talent who is always associated with the franchise in one form or another. Despite so much of the gossip, she actually thinks it is possible that the next season of the show contains many more familiar faces than anyone would predict going into this season. For some more on that, just take a look at what she had to say recently, per the Daily Star:
“Even though sometimes it could get a bit uncomfortable because Mel could be so feisty and came across as fake with some things, I was totally on board with a lot of what she said.
“She would tell it how it is, and that was what the show needed.”
Sinitta also makes it clear that some of Walsh’s threats to leave the show may just be that, given that we have seen some similar practices in the past. We do genuinely think that Louis is done with the show now, but we would not be shocked if the rest of the panel remains the same. We feel like Mel is rather good at what she does, and Cheryl Fernandez-Virsini is far too popular and has too much of a rapport with Simon to get rid of her, provided of course she wants to return.
