‘Survivor: Worlds Apart’ episode 12 preview: Is Rodney going to quit the game?

Rodney -What is it with people on “Survivor: Worlds Apart” threatening to quit the game? A few weeks ago, it was Jenn doing this. Now, it is Rodney. In the preview that aired after tonight’s episode, we saw the show’s resident big personality tell people to go ahead and vote him out, just so that he can be a member of the jury.

Do we really think that Rodney means this? Not really. He’s shown himself to be an emotional dude. He is probably still upset about getting ditched for rewards, and being annoyed by some of these people. He’s shown himself to be a decent strategist at times, so him quitting would be a rather lame way for him to end his journey … even if it does make things a little bit more interesting for Mike.

Speaking of Mike, he gets another chance to try to rally votes, and seeing Dan’s name on the parchment more than once should be enough to make him start to sweat at least a little bit. He is clearly upset, and Tyler tries to defend himself by saying that he had to do something knowing that his name was thrown out there. This is true in a way, given that had there been some actual votes cast against him, he had to do something. It’s still not good for his game regardless since it raises the chances of Dan flipping.

Mike does have a hidden immunity idol. Unfortunately, beyond a week it makes little sense for anyone to work with him unless they can rally some numbers together, or at least enough to still try to get rid of him right before the final three. If he makes it there, he wins.
