‘The Flash’ spoilers: See Stephen, Robbie Amell’s return now!

The Amells are coming back to “The Flash” later this season, and it definitely feels like they will be doing so with a specific purpose in mind: Trying to ensure that the Reverse Flash is defeated once and for all.

The photo below comes courtesy of TVLine, and it features Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen a.k.a. the Flash alongside Stephen Amell’s the Arrow (dressed here in his Al Sah-Him costume) and also Robbie Amell’s Ronnie Raymond a.k.a. Firestorm. All three of them are formidable people, and may be able to stop Eobard Thawne once and for all … at least if they are lucky.

This is going to be an eventful episode for many reasons. For one, this installment is also set to feature the return of Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold, who Barry will actually call on for some help. As for whether or not he will be keen on lending a helping hand, that is an entirely different story.

Whatever happens in this episode is still probably not going to resolve the entire story of what is happening with Eobard, mostly because there is still one more episode to come beyond this. Even still, though, this does mark a tremendous opportunity to see some more superhero warfare, and to enjoy the great banter that Barry and Oliver Queen have. Granted, we wonder if Oliver is going to even be in a position to actually allow some of that personality to come through, given his new place in the League of Assassins.

“Rogue Air” will come on The CW come Tuesday, May 12.
