‘Gotham’ finale spoilers: Be prepared for a huge Bruce Wayne reveal

We’ve seen quite a journey for the Bruce Wayne character already on “Gotham.” The series started with the death of his parents, and he has spent with with Jim Gordon, studied under Alfred, and started to befriend Selina Kyle. We have not always liked his story, but we do have to say that we enjoy the evolution of the character so far. Especially, what is going on right now with him and Wayne Enterprises is extremely fascinating.

While you are definitely not going to be seeing anything coming up when it comes to Batman, what we will tell you right now is that there will at least be some movement forward when it comes to the story of his family. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly in a new interview, executive producer Bruno Heller had the following to say:

“He’s going to find the biggest clue of all … There’s going to be a huge discovery. What could he possibly discover at this point in his life? What could he and Alfred find out about the family and where they live and the future? That’s what we’re going to discover in this last episode. It’s a huge reveal.”

What we wonder for now is this: Will the producers be able to resist that Batman temptation? How are they going to handle the mythology if they make it to the teenage years? All of these are interesting questions, but we wonder if the show will even make it this far. The ratings as of late have not been particularly tremendous. They’ve fallen significantly since the premiere, and they are going to need to stay steady in season 2 for this to have a long life.
