NBC’s ‘The Voice’ spoilers: Matt McAndrew, Blake Shelton, Rozzi Crane to perform

Matt -You already knew that in some ways, Monday night’s new episode of “The Voice” is going to mark a reunion. After all, Cee Lo Green, Gwen Stefani, and Usher are all going to return as advisers, and to go along with that, we also can add that there is a certain notable performer joining the mix!

In a post on Twitter, Matt McAndrew confirmed that he is going to be performing his new single “Counting on Love.” This makes him the second returning alumni this season, as Chris Jamison did a sensational duet with Wiz Khalifa to “See You Again,” the song from the “Furious 7” soundtrack that has torn up the Billboard charts since its release. Joining Matt on the show will be Blake Shelton performing his new single “Sangria,” Jason Derulo, and also artist Rozzi Crane. The significance of Crane is that Adam Levine recently started his own label 222 Records, and she is one of the first artists signed to it. This is a nice opportunity for her to expose her music to a wider audience, and this also shows that the show remains a great venue for the coaches and all of their various endeavors.

There are currently eight contestants left this season, and it definitely feels like a different sort of landscape than what we had during season 7. Matt was one of the favorites in the fall alongside Craig Wayne Boyd (who eventually won) and Jamison; there really was not a clear-cut winner on the same level that there is probably this year with Sawyer Fredericks. We thought for most of last season that Matt was going to end up coming out on top.

We’ll have more news on “The Voice” over the weekend, including contestant rankings Sunday. Be on the lookout for that, and head over here for more news!
