‘Elementary’ season 3, episode 21 preview: First look at ‘Under My Skin’

ElementaryAs we start to near the home stretch for this third season of “Elementary,” is there anything in particular that we expect to see occur? We do not know entirely the answer to that just yet, but we can at least say that there are a few intriguing cases coming. Hopefully, next week’s “Under My Skin” will potentially do something that sets the stage for something larger as we near the end. Basically, this show has been extremely procedural to us (yes, we know that it is a procedural) ever since Kitty Winter departed earlier this season.

There of course will be a story-of-the-week component here, as per the synopsis below. However, at the same time it also feels clear that there will be a chance to see something new and rather different when it comes to Holmes and his sponsor that could really test the social skills of our famed crime-solver:

“When two New York City paramedics are killed during a kidnapping, Holmes and Watson join the manhunt to find the murderer and the woman he abducted. Also, Holmes learns important information about his recovery sponsor, Alfredo (Ato Essandoh), that strains their relationship.”

While it may be somewhat of an aside to this article, allow us to say for a second here just how grateful we are that CBS actually handed down a 24-episode season to “Elementary,” especially given the late premiere. For a while, this is something that we certainly felt we were not going to receive.
