‘Big Brother Canada 3’ interview: Johnny Colatruglio on potentially returning, his new target

Johnny -While Wednesday night’s “Big Brother Canada” eviction was not surprising, it was certainly still sad. You never want to see enormous fans of the game sent home early, but this is precisely what happened to Johnny Colatruglio. After speaking with him on Thursday, though, we feel pretty darn confident in saying that we really hope that this guy finds a way to make it back into the game. He already has spent some time in sequester with the other eliminated houseguests, and knows about the Chop Shop. There’s one person in particular he wants to go after, and he explains that in his interview answers below.

The one thing that we’ll remind you of right now is this: We couldn’t expose to Johnny anything that either he or the other houseguests are not aware of. This is standard due to the twist this season.

CarterMatt – Who do you think is your biggest threat among the other eliminated houseguests to defeat you in a competition?

Johnny – Naeha. There is a fire under her right now, and she wants this just as bad as I do. I have this sneaking suspicion that her and I are going to be going head to head. I am a little worried about Graig and Sindy, but my biggest competition hands-down is Naeha. She wants this as bad as I do and the two of us would do whatever it takes to get back in the game. It’s going to be an interesting head-to-head challenge, so watch for it this Sunday.

Was it strange for you actually being in the house after spending so many years as an observer?

It was an emotional rollercoaster! So many ups, so many downs! I thought I could keep my emotions in check, but I’m crying on day one. Such a disaster. The twists and turns, you don’t expect them. The amount of paranoia in the house is crazy, all of the speculation as to what to expect. Everything is absolutely mental.

There is so much downtime, and I know watching the feeds that there is a lot of downtime, but you don’t know how bored you actually are until you step into the house. You talk with people ten times over, you’re stuffing your faces because there’s nothing else to do. We’re resorting to making toilet-paper footballs because we’re so darn bored! That is something I didn’t expect, but I probably should have, but I didn’t for whatever reason.

What’s the one move you wish you had made, but didn’t?

The one thing is that I tried to approach Bruno about talking game, after the nominations and after the Veto. He wasn’t having much of it. It was hard to get in his ear. He was pretty deadset about taking me out. Now that I know the truth about the Chop Shop I understand why. I wish I had pushed it a little harder, I wish Sarah and I had maybe gone in there together to blow up the couples and maybe expose the Purple Cobras / the Hexagon to him.

But at the end of the day it is what it is, you can’t go back and change anything. I have no regrets, but knowing everything that I’ve done wrong, knowing everything that I know from being in sequester, I’m going to go in with a new mentality and strategy, and some houseguests, especially Zach, better watch out!
