‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 6, ‘The Fosters’ season 3 premiere dates revealed by ABC Family

It only seems like mere minutes ago that we were revealing casting news on “The Fosters” season 3 (mostly because it was); now, we are getting the chance to share the official ABC Family return dates for both this show and also the network’s highest-rated series of all in “Pretty Little Liars.” There are also a variety of other ones that were also unveiled, including some new series. (To us, the surprise omissions here are “Switched at Birth” and “Chasing Life,” which we assumed would both be coming back in some form sooner rather than later.)

Go ahead and take a look at some of the dates below, and mark your calendars appropriately!

“Pretty Little Liars” – Tuesday, June 2 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern (it’s almost graduation time)

“Stitchers” – June 2 at 9:00 (new series)

“Melissa & Joey” – June 3 at 8:00

“Baby Daddy” – June 3 at 8:30

“The Fosters” – June 8 at 8:00

“Becoming Us” – June 8 at 9:00

If nothing else, “The Fosters” should really feel like this is somewhat a vote of confidence for them to be used as a launching pad for new series alongside of the Shay Mitchell – Lucy Hale drama, which has without question become a global sensation. We cannot say whether or not either one of these new series will be a hit, but clearly ABC Family needs something else to stand out and shine now. “Pretty Little Liars” most likely is ending with its seventh season, and there is no other smash hit at the moment with anywhere near the same level of popularity.
