‘Shark Tank’ star Kevin O’Leary joining Aaron Rodgers, Mark Kelly on ‘Celebrity Jeopardy!’

Who is joining Kevin O’Leary on “Celebrity Jeopardy” in the near future? We actually are giving you the question first, unlike the typical rules of this show. The answer is this: He’ll be playing the game alongside astronaut Mark Kelly and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

The “Shark Tank” personality was the first to confirm this news today in a post on Twitter, announcing that his episode was going to air on May 12. We’re a longtime fan of “Celebrity Jeopardy,” and to us it doesn’t matter if we are watching the real thing or the “Saturday Night Live” parody. There is just something very fascinating that comes out of getting to see so many different personalities on the show. In some ways, we find it a fascinating challenge to see if contestants can live up to their pre-show expectations. For example, there will be big hopes for O’Leary to do well at this, given that he is a brilliant guy who probably sleeps on a mattress made up of $100 bills, diamonds and furs at night.

Meanwhile, Rodgers will probably be the underdog simply due to preconceived notions about NFL players, but he has clearly shown to be a smart guy off of the field already and the others shouldn’t underestimate him.

The only real goal that any of these celebrities should have at the moment is very simple: Try if at all possible to ensure that you don’t end up like Wolf Blitzer. The CNN host proved himself to be one of the most surprisingly terrible performers in “Jeopardy!” in recent memory, and we cannot look at him the same way after he completely bombed at this.
