‘Chicago PD’ season 2, episode 18 preview: Fire, hidden drugs, and gray areas

Chicago PD -Tonight, “Chicago PD” will air its latest new episode, and in giving you the full spectrum of what this department truly does, we are going from international conflict last week to drug packages being hidden in sauce this week.

This is the subject of the first sneak peek below, which as far as content goes is pretty by the book. The only thing that is somewhat interesting here to us is the idea of hiding something like a package in sauce. Would this really work? Given that you are surrounding a solid with a liquid, wouldn’t this make it relatively obvious that there is something a little odd hidden within? Even with a darker sauce, it feels almost obvious the moment that you pick it up. Maybe our analysis of this is proof that we would be terrible at drug trafficking, given that this is what our immediate impression on it is. That being said this isn’t the first time we’ve seen drugs being moved in barrels of sauce and if you’re a fan f “Breaking Bad” then you know what we are talking about.

As for the content of the second sneak peek, this shows us yet again that disaster can strike at almost any moment for these cops … but especially if they are going into a trap and a fire. What we enjoy most about this is that it seems like the officers are actually being warned to steer clear, and their inability to listen in the moment is what gets them in trouble. There is usually a stagnant mentality when it comes to police on TV shows: Either they are completely incompetent idiots who fail to accomplish anything, or they are awesome forces of nature who always get their guy and manage to avoid an entire clip of bullets. We certainly appreciate it when things land in the gray area.
