ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: A look at ‘Exposure’ … and a discussion

What in the world is going on with the “Revenge” episode entitled “Exposure”? This is one of the greatest mysteries of all, and we saw this as someone who has tried to unravel some of the show’s other bizarre question marks like why Charlotte is not even mentioned on the show anymore.

The first piece of business that tells us that something is off with this episode is that despite airing on April 12 and being technically the 19th episode of the season, it was actually the 23rd in the production code. In other words, this was the last episode ordered. What gives? Our feeling here is that this is the long-rumored “clip” episode that will be reminiscent of “Still,” that episode of “Castle” that was mostly just Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic in a room while Beckett was standing on top of a live bomb.

There will be a little new footage, and then lots of flashbacks to days gone by. You know, days when there were still a ton of characters on the show like Daniel and Fake Amanda Clarke. Weren’t those the days? (To us, season 1 will forever be known as “the days” since that’s when the show was at its best.)

With this information, it’s hard to read into an attached photo like the one we have here. Why are Louise and Victoria having an intense conversation? Are they thinning the ice a little bit, is Louise starting to lose it again, or are we getting some sort of twisted flashback to something we did not see before? Also, why does Victoria constantly have such perfect table decorations and why can’t our house look like that?

This episode is coming after there will be a brief hiatus from “Revenge” a week from Sunday. Who knows? Maybe for some reason ABC is terrified against facing off with Don Draper and the “Mad Men” premiere.
