‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ preview: The most random Claudia Jordan / Porsha Williams fight ever!

There are fights on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” that we understand completely. Then, there are also fights like the one that we have in the new sneak peek below from Sunday night’s episode. This is, in a word, insane. There is absolutely no reason for Claudia Jordan and Porsha Williams to be arguing over dinner in the Philippines, and yet they are.

Let’s get to that in a second… deep breath. First, let’s bring you the source of the madness. Claudia decides that she wants to try to mediate a feud between Cynthia Bailey and Phaedra Parks, using some of the supposed wisdom gleamed through the meetings with Dr. Jeff. Yes, the same one that NeNe Leakes, who did not make the trip overseas, walked out on and decided not to return for. Claudia doesn’t come at this in a combative way, and Cynthia actually seems like she genuinely wants to move forward here and not cause trouble. Isn’t that a nice thought?

Well, then you have the ridicule coming at Cynthia for trying to be all professional with this, and it leads to Porsha going on and on about how she is not going to be silenced. To be frank, this feels like her trying to make a mountain out of a molehill … and this mountain’s made of dry sand and is about to crumble. We get it: Airtime is the key to survival on this show, and the ladies need it to stay relevant.

Also, for those of you really hoping for some super-fantastic moment involving a glass breaking in here, you are probably set to be disappointed on an epic level. All we really have here is Claudia accidentally breaking a glass while trying to get the attention of the group.
