‘Hart of Dixie’ season 4 finale spoilers: Show boss on Lavon / Lemon engagement, Zoe, Wade’s woe

Friday night, the finale of “Hart of Dixie” is going to be bringing quite a bit to the table, and you better believe that romance is going to be a key part of it. Lemon and Lavon are engaged! It’s easy to be happy for them, but there is also a big problem: Lavon totally snatched up Zoe’s planned engagement to Wade, and then claimed it was his own when Lemon stumbled upon it.

Is he finally going to admit the truth? This is something discussed in the preview video below by show creator Leila Gerstein, who explains that what makes this even more of a predicament is that Lavon is not even pretending like he wanted to pop the question. He did! This was just not the time that he was planning on it, or the place.

It is also revealed in this promo that Zoe and Wade are in full agreement that they want to get married, but they are afraid to get engaged now, given that it will steal Lemon’s thunder and cause a rift in the friendship.

In the end, we’d be stunned if this ceremony happens without Lavon admitting to his fiancee the truth, or without Zoe and Wade at least figuring out what they want to do. Granted, we also know that there is one other issue that could end up holding these two parties back in the end from thinking about this: A baby. Based on what we’ve seen, she is going to go into labor.
