‘Dancing with the Stars’ 20, week 2 spoilers: Styles for Chris Soules, Willow Shields, and more

Chris -We’re only a week into this season of “Dancing with the Stars,” and we already get the feeling that we’re in for a somewhat-unpredictable season. There were people who were much better than we expected (Robert Herjavec, Rumer Willis), and then a few others who surprisingly were not good at all (Redfoo). The reality here is that dance style may have had a ton to do with a lot of this. Therefore, Monday’s episode will be a true test of what these people can truly do, and who will be destined to go out and lay a giant egg on the stage (though probably not a goose egg in the score).

The following dance spoilers come to us courtesy of Buddy TV, and we’re going to give you a snarky impression of the routine to go along with what it is (since mere facts alone are not as exciting).

Chris Soules and Witney Carson – Cha-cha to “Time of our Lives” by Pitbull. This is going to be all sorts of corny. Good thing Chris is game.

Rumer Willis and Val Chmerkovskiy – Cha-cha to “Rumour Has It” by Adele. Someone in production clearly thought that they were being really clever here. There are not enough facepalm memes in existence to describe this.

Charlotte McKinney and Keo Motsepe – Cha-cha to “California Gurls” by Katy Perry. The funny thing is that Charlotte actually grew up in Florida.

Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson – Foxtrot to “You Make Me Feel So Young” by Michael Buble. Is someone throwing shade at Robert / making him feel old?

Riker Lynch and Allison Holker – Foxtrot to “Sugar” by Maroon 5. Predictable hit song for the R5 singer. Nothing too snarky to say here.

Michael Sam and Peta Murgatroyd – Foxtrot to “Workin’ My Way Back to You” by the Spinners. This fits firmly into “traditional dance that will get okay marks and okay votes.”

Suzanne Somers and Tony Dovolani – Jive to “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Going On” by Jerry Lee Lewis. We know Somers is in great shape, but clearly someone wants to torture one of this season’s oldest stars by making her start off with these uptempo numbers.

Redfoo and Emma Slater – Jive to “My Sharona.” This will be a hot mess. Nothing else to say.

Willow Shields and Mark Ballas – Argentino tango to “Somebody that I Used to Know” by Gotye. Great song, but is this really the right song for the youngest dancer in the history of the show?

Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess – Samba to “Homegrown Honey” by Darius Rucker. We’ve never heard the song, but this is going to be a huge challenge right away for Noah.

Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough – Rumba to “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran. Go ahead and write down a few eights and nines in advance.

Patti LaBelle and Artem Chigvintsev – Salsa to “In Da Club” by 50 Cent. Please say this is a joke.
