ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4, episode 17 preview: Will ‘Put a Ring on It’ be big Cyrus episode?

Next week’s new episode of “Scandal” is going to be a very different one from what we saw on the show tonight. After all, Lena Dunham’s guest-starring appearance on the show is over, and we are now transitioning into one that will revolve heavily around Cyrus, Michael, and some other familiar faces. “Put a Ring on It” is the title for the hour, and that in itself does have a cheery, almost-cutesy vibe to it. It makes you want to root for happyendings, even though this is not exactly something that “Scandal” as a series has become known for over time.

“When Michael gets himself in a bad situation, the Gladiators launch into damage control and put pressure on Cyrus to move up the wedding. Meanwhile, David takes the first step in executing his plan to take down B613.”

This episode looks like a hoot, based on the promo below. It’s a chance for a gay, Republican wedding at the White House! Somewhere, conservative evangelicals may be rather fuming over this. However, it also seems like not everything is going to go even remotely according to plan. There will be chaos that ensues, and in term this will make things rather crazy as a whole. We’ll just have to wait and see how this all shakes out.
