‘Rizzoli & Isles’ season 6: Premiere date speculation, more for Angie Harmon – Sasha Alexander series

Tonight, “Rizzoli & Isles” is closing its fifth season on TNT, but it is far from the end of the road when it comes to the series as a whole. The network has already renewed the Angie Harmon – Sasha Alexander series for a sixth season, and that will most-likely be another series of great capers, character moments, and emotional plotlines.

So when are you going to see this series back on the air? We cannot say too much just yet, other than that you will most likely see the series return in June. After all, this is what we already have some sort of precedent for as it is! The show premiered the past three seasons during this month, so there is not really any reason to expect that to change now.

Even though this is a show that is starting to get a little bit deeper into its run now, there is one thing that we certainly do not expect to see happen anytime soon: The show ending. After all, this has become a crown jewel for its network. It draws consistently great ratings, has a loyal following, and it continues to put its two lead characters in difficult situations. If there was a season for it to stumble, it would have been this one, given the showrunner change and the tragedy that befell the group with Lee Thompson Young’s death.
