Is ‘NCIS’ season 12, episode 18 new tonight? First Margo Harshman photo!

Last week, we had the opportunity to learn some very cool news when it comes to “NCIS“: Margo Harshman is getting set to return as Delilah! Unfortunately, it came with a rather sad reminder that there is no new episode airing on CBS tonight. Sure, there is quite a bit on elsewhere, in between “The Voice,” “The Flash” returning, and Fox doing whatever they can to keep Tuesdays relevant, but what about Gibbs and company? This episode with Harshman, entitled “Status Update,” will air on Tuesday, March 24.

We would be lying if we were to say that we were entering this episode devoid of worry. Why? We haven’t seen Delilah in a long time, and if she is not meant to be a huge part of the series long-term, there is no guarantee that the show will want to keep her and McGee together. The photo below does not necessarily show them on the happiest of terms, and to go along with all of that, the title could be a reference to a Facebook status … or, to be fair, a mission as a whole. It’s too early to tell.

We understand that there are plenty of Abby / McGee ‘shippers out there, and we have no real problem with that. We just wish we had more Delilah on the show since, regardless of if she is paired off with someone, she’s a different sort of character than we have elsewhere. then again, we feel the same way about Agent Borin, who at least makes some sporadic appearances.
