ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4 spoilers: A somber Emily Thorne photo from ‘Loss’

Sunday marks the episode of “Revenge” entitled “Retaliation,” which is the producers’ way of basically entitling an episode “Revenge” without technically doing so. With that in mind, that title tells us absolutely zilch about the episode’s story.

Fortunately and unfortunately, we already know about the following episode “Loss” based on the attached image. After all, this does not exactly look like a happy story is ahead for Emily Thorne and Jack Porter. These two look very disturbed during a phone call; maybe this is just a strange camera angle, but we like to think that there is something more than that taking place here. The story overall is still largely shrouded in some mystery, other than that we know that it will revolve obviously around something very disheartening.

Could another character die in this episode? We’re not putting it past the show, but we feel like so soon after we lost Daniel Grayson, the only way we’d be fine with that is if the show is ending this year, and the writers really have to start picking up the pace. We just wish that if it was going to be saying farewell, they would know in time to craft a proper series finale. We’re not sure that is going to happen this season.
