‘Chicago PD’ season 2 spoilers: The many forms of going undercover

While you may be waiting for a while to see the return of “Chicago PD” to television, we may at least have some news for you today that makes that wait a little easier: Some of the first news on the show’s March 25 return!

As you may have seen in the promo, the title for this episode is going to be “Say Her Real Name,” and we can now tell you that undercover missions are going to be a key element in the story. Many different members of Intelligence are going to have to work to ensure that there is not a spree of deaths that take place surrounding a major conference. Anytime that you have so many world leaders all in one place, you always run the risk of some dangerous things taking place.

NBC just released the official synopsis for this episode over the weekend; take a look at it below to get a sense at what many specific characters are going to be up to:

“With a World Trade conference in Chicago, all members of intelligence are undercover in various protest groups to determine potential threats. Ruzek (Patrick Flueger), infiltrates the Black Grid group and befriends Sierra (guest star Lucy Blehar). When she ends up dead intelligence is suspicious of an Argentine Secretary, Fabian Sosa (guest star Gary Perez). Voight (Jason Beghe) and Olinsky (Elias Koteas) question Sosa about the death and the team enlists Mouse (guest star Caleb Hunt) to help with their tech needs in tracking Sosa. Meanwhile Halstead’s (Jesse Lee Soffer) brother, Dr. Will Halstead (guest star Nick Gehlfuss) shows up in town for an undetermined amount of time and is already stirring up trouble.”
