‘Teen Wolf’ season 5 spoilers: Orny Adams not returning as Coach Finstock
For the upcoming fifth season of “Teen Wolf,” it appears as though Beacon Hills is going to be without at least one more familiar face in the town.
According to a report from Hypable coming from the Days of the Wolf convention in Burbank, actor Orny Adams confirmed that he is not going to be able to come back for the part of Coach Finstock. As he explained, this is not really a decision based on what the show producers wanted, but more his own schedule. He had some other commitments that he was not able to break, and therefore, the show will be without the coach. Given how important athletics have been in a way to the fabric of the show, we have to say that we are at least somewhat surprised by this news. Who didn’t want to see the Coach on the new season? We certainly did.
Unfortunately, fans of this show probably are familiar with departures from the series at this point, given that we’ve seen everyone from Colton Haynes to Crystal Reed to Daniel Sharman leave the show over the years. Granted, Adams could still return at some point depending on what the show wants to do in the future, he was more of a recurring player than a regular. Still, any departure is still something worth noting.
The fifth season of “Teen Wolf” will be longer than the fourth, and will start airing on MTV come the summer. As we get a little closer to the airdate, we presume that we’ll have more news. Isn’t that typically how this works?
