NBC’s ‘Hannibal’ season 3, ‘America’s Got Talent,’ other premiere dates revealed
“Hannibal” is going to be sitting back down for dinner in just under three months. Today, NBC confirmed that the Mads Mikkelsen – Hugh Dancy series is premiering come Thursday, June 4 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time, but it is just one of many series that the network announced start dates for on Friday.
As a matter of fact, “Hannibal” is going to be a part of a night featuring scripted programming. The David Duchovny series “Aquarius” is actually going to be beginning the week before on May 28, and will be doing so with a two-hour premiere starting at 9:00. Ultimately, this means that he and his former “X-Files” co-star Gillian Anderson are going to be anchoring the same night. Crazy, but somehow still true.
On the subject of reality shows, “American Ninja Warrior” will kick off its latest competition come Monday, May 25, while “America’s Got Talent” will start the very next day on May 26. Both series will begin starting at 8:00. These two shows continue to be high-rated contributors on the network, and it is hard to see either one of them going anywhere in the near future.
As for “Hannibal,” it’s a fantastic show, but one that probably still needs some of your support. There are of course many ways to catch up, whether it be purchasing DVDs or watching the seasons via Amazon Prime, which is its exclusive home for streaming. Hopefully, airing both during the week and in the summer will reduce the amount of competition, and increase awareness for those who have not had the opportunity to see it yet.
