‘Supernatural’ season 10 spoilers: What ‘Paint It Black’ means for Sam, Dean, and Rowena

Check it out -If you enjoy your “Supernatural” episode titles with a hefty dose of Rolling Stones references, “Paint It Black” has to be near the top as one of your favorites. This is the name for the upcoming March 25 episode of the show, and one that feels on the surface like it’s going to be a whole lot of fun to watch. There’s a whole lot going on here, from a pretty gross was in which people die (leading to Sam and Dean’s investigation) to the latest on Crowley and Rowena as she attempts to regain all of the power that she one had. Sadly, there’s no word on if Castiel is also going to appear in this particular installment.

For the time being, what we can tell you is that The CW recently released the full synopsis for this hour, and you can take a look at it right away below:

“Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate a string of suicides committed by people with little in common other than the identical, grisly method of death – slow, self-administered disembowlment. All of the victims were members of a Catholic church and had recently given confession, leading the brothers to suspect the priest (guest star Stephen Daniel Curtis) is somehow involved. Meanwhile, when Crowley (Mark Sheppard) captures Olivette (guest star Teryl Rothery), the leader of the Grand Coven, Rowena (guest star Ruth Connell) pleads her case to be allowed to practice magic freely again.”

Will this be the end of the Rowena story? We doubt it, and that seems to be the only ongoing story that is really present in this episode. We assume that with everything else, what we are seeing here is just a story that will stand on its own.
