‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8, episode 17 preview: Sheldon’s (possible) mission to Mars
“The Big Bang Theory” has been alternating on and off with new episodes as of late, but we come bearing good news now: There is a new episode airing on CBS next week! This one will go in a very different direction from tonight, where we saw Sheldon Cooper decide to take an experiment all about love.
This time around, Sheldon is going to be spending some time pontificating a future that is for the most part about Mars … and him going on a mission there. Do we really think that this is going to happen? Probably not, but him thinking he could be is a part of the fun. Also, this will be a chance for there to be some more tension between him and Amy, as she continues to wonder whether or not he really loves her anywhere as much as he loves himself.
You can find out a few more details about this episode in the synopsis below:
“Trouble arises when Amy learns Sheldon has applied for a one-way mission to colonize Mars. Also, a trip to the pet store ends in a fight for Sheldon and Amy, Leonard surprises Penny with a very “adult” purchase, and, Raj is caught snooping in Emily’s apartment.”
Could this mean that Raj and Emily are in big trouble? We wouldn’t go that far just yet, but given that he has been in this relationship a little while now, it may be time for the show to try to figure out what to do next with him.

It sounds like a good one. However, Raj and Emily might be headed for some trouble. This is because there is something odd about Emily that I can’t quite place. Also, I think that Raj is still very close to Howard, as a friend and Cinnamon. Plus I think Raj’s parents divorce might make Raj leery of a serious relationship now. Also, I still hope that Raj ends up with Mrs. Davis. I could happen at the end of the series and be a whirlwind romance.
