‘Better Call Saul’ episode 5 preview: Is Chuck McGill in trouble?

Are you still reeling from tonight’s “Better Call Saul”? From our vantage point, this was clearly the best episode of the series to date. After all, we got a chance through here to see Jimmy McGill become a hero … though at the same time, we also saw this entire act of heroism be a total facade, put on simple for the purpose of him getting as much business as humanly possible.

The episode ended with Jimmy’s brother Chuck learning through a newspaper story about what happened with the billboard rescue, which he tried to hide from him previously. Let’s just say that he is not going to take it well. The space blanket is in full force next week, and the police are also involved over what seems to be a full-fledged meltdown. It seems as though our fledgling attorney did get some new clients because of the stunt, but were they really the right sort of clients? We’ll let you wonder that. They are all coming based off of his stunt, but what happens to Chuck could derail all of that.

What is so interesting at this very moment is that four episodes in, we’re still not entirely sure about what is happening with this show in the long-term, or what we are working towards. However, at the same time, we don’t really care that much. So long as we continue to be this entertained, this is really the most important thing to us.
