‘Elementary’ season 3 spoilers: Is Sherlock Holmes guilty of murder?

Elementary -In some ways, it is a pretty common crime TV trope at this point: The main character on a beloved series somehow ends up becoming accused of a crime, even though it is one that they did not commit. The mystery then becomes how they are going to be able to clear their name.

In the case of “Elementary,” the upcoming March 5 episode “For All You Know” is going to show some of what Sherlock Holmes does when he faces this dilemma. While this case may be somewhat run-of-the-mill, everything with this show tends to be original and different just because you have this sort of character involved. What raises the stakes this time is that Sherlock is not actually 100% sure that he is innocent; after all, the woman at the center of this case was killed back when he was an addict. Take a look at the official synopsis below:

“When Holmes is implicated in the murder of a woman who was killed during the height of his addiction, he investigates himself to find their connection. As Holmes retraces his steps with Watson’s help, the clues make his confidence in his own character waver.”

This case may not necessarily be fun, but it should be fascinating. The best cases on “Elementary” are the ones that completely derail Holmes and keep him from using his conventional methods. Clearly, this one is going to do that and then some, shaking his confidence to his core.

Hopefully, we’ll have some further scoop related to the show soon. Stay tuned!
