‘Galavant’ finale spoilers: A quick video discussion; what we hope to see

Tomorrow night, “Galavant” will be over before it seemingly even began. Within just three weeks, this ABC series became a personal favorite, and we have to now sit here and face the reality that we are not going to be seeing it again after Sunday night. Here’s a helpful suggestion: Watch live!

So what do we expect during the final two episodes? The biggest thing above all else is that we expert some sort of resolution to the current plot, which revolves around Galavant’s new quest to help Isabella retain her kingdom, which is slightly different from what he set out to do. We get zero indication that he is still interested in his former beau Madalena, who has become mad with power and with material things since marrying Richard. Even though you want to see the hero succeed, the funny thing is that we don’t want him to be too successful to the point Richard is gone. Losing Timothy Omundson from the cast would be among the most devastating things imaginable.

As for if Galavant and Isabella get together themselves … signs point to “probably,” though this would be a nice cliffhanger if the show decided to do that at all. (We’ve heard “limited series” bandied about, but we all know that more would be made if the ratings dictate it.)
