ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 4, episode 14 video: Emily VanCamp scene hints at change

Throughout the entire run of “Revenge,” we have referred to Amanda Clarke in our articles as Emily Thorne, and there is a particular reason for that. After all, this is the name that she goes by, and most of the characters knew her as that at the time.

However, this season has done a particularly notable job of blurring those lines a little bit between who Emily was, and who she is. This may be blurred even further in the sneak peek below. After all, David Clarke encourages her that since he is happy being completely out in the open about who he is, it is very well possible that she could find a similar amount of happiness in it, as well. As a matter of fact, he encourages her to give it a try, and be completely out in the open about her identity. After all, he feels that she is going to be a whole lot happier as a result of it.

Is she really going to do that, though? That is hard to say, since the Amanda Clarke narrative is different than the David one. The only reason we feel she could consider it is that there are not exactly a whole lot of people still completely out of the loop at this point, and really, the only major group she would be revealing the news to is the public.

This will be the last episode of “Revenge” for a little while, so if there ever was a time for such a secret to come out, it does feel like this would be it.
