‘Glee’ season 6: Naya Rivera’s latest comments on ‘The View’ including mocking Justin Bieber
Clearly, Naya Rivera is not done speaking her mind on “The View.” For the second time this week, the “Glee” star is making headlines for some of her commentary, and this time around, it is specifically for bashing Justin Bieber’s habit recently of posing some new photos with his shirt off.
We’re trying to think of a fairly PC way to say this, but recently there was some controversy over whether or not Bieber had a Calvin Klein photo of him in his underwear retouched using Photoshop to make his abs and a certain other part of his body (think groin region) appear a little more pronounced. Bieber denied it, and his shirtless photo on social media was “proof” of that.
Well, Naya took issue with this after taking issue to the original photo, and said the following to the ladies on the panel:
“I care less about the Photoshopping than the shirtless selfie … It’s annoying, and you look like a [d-bag]. Girls don’t want to date guys that are constantly in a mirror… like, stop. Go fix something in the house. That’s hotter.”
The funny thing here is that we could make this same comment about not just Bieber, but also a good percentage of the current social-media audience who think that people really want to see photos of them wearing not a whole lot of clothing. Why feel the need? Granted, to be fair Rivera has also done her fair share of photoshoots wearing very little, but we suppose the difference there is that it is not coming in selfie format.
