Val Chmerkovskiy makes one fan VERY happy on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ tour

If there is one thing that we can say about Val Chmerkovskiy right now, at least other than that he is an amazing dancer, it is that he is very affectionate with his fans.

In the Instagram post here, you can see Val at a Mississippi stop for the “Dancing with the Stars” tour, planting quite a bit surprise on the face of one admirer in the audience. He gives a pretty lengthy explanation for it, as well, including his motivation for it, and her reaction to seeing him before the kiss. Val’s always been known to be a passionate performer; just look at the way the tabloids jump on him with dating rumors like this past season.

Here is that aforementioned caption:

“This shot was taken from our Mississippi show. During our jive with @emmaslaterdance I jumped into the audience began dancing with a fan that was so shocked surprised and nervous that she was shaking in my arms. she couldn’t speak and with lips trembling murmured ‘i love you’ …and so this was my response. A moment of spontaneity and pure joy … Emma’s face is priceless. #DWTSLiveTour”

What’s funny about this moment is that while it was probably a big one for the fan, it’s also turned out to be good publicity for the tour. There are still many days open in the coming weeks, and joining Val on it are fellow pros past and present, including Witney Carson, Kym Johnson, Emma Slater, Sasha Farber, Keo Motsepe, and Mark Ballas. The most-recent champion in Alfonso Ribeiro is also making appearances. You can find some tickets for it over at the link here for your city.

The new season of “Dancing with the Stars” is going to premiere at some point in March on ABC, and in addition it being the 20th show and likely Len Goodman’s last as judge, we will hopefully have some more casting rumors in the weeks ahead. Typically, around the end of February is when the rumor mill really starts to get going full speed, but we’re pretty confident that we’ll be seeing Val again on our TV sets then.
