‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2 spoilers: Let’s get angelic!

Who doesn’t love angels on TV? The funny thing is, it never happens quite as you would expect. Just ask Roma Downey, Misha Collins, or now, Max Brown. The “Tudors” alum has quite a mysterious arc coming up as an angel in the world of “Sleepy Hollow,” and with so many demons and other otherworldly creatures out there, it must feel good for Ichabod and Abbie to know that there is actually a force for good out there to try and battle so much of the bad.

Specifically, we know that this man and Nicole Beharie’s character going to bond. We’re not saying that it will be romantic, but it will at least be a key part of the storyline. Speaking per TVLine on this subject, executive producer Mark Goffman explained that she is going to find something magical about the devotion that he shows for their cause, and that ties in well to her state of confusion following the shocking end of Moloch’s reign of terror:

“There’s something inspirational that Abbie sees in his conviction and his abilities … As the story unfolds, it becomes extreme. There’s a really interesting connection between Abbie and the angel … She sees in him someone who is actually completely living for what they believe. and finds that really inspiring and maybe even decides to sort of follow him in that.”

This is going to be a very fun story to follow, especially as we wonder whether or not this angel needs his halo removed. After all, doesn’t there have to be a villain who rises from the ashes? Henry is the only other candidate, and given that he just killed Moloch, it at least feels like there is an opportunity for revenge.
