‘Glee’ season 6 spoilers: See Chris Colfer, Naya Rivera, Lea Michele, more in cast photo

Given that “Glee” recently unveiled their first official images from the new season, wasn’t it only a matter of time before the group photo became available? We like to think so.

One thing that we do love about this image right away is mostly that it actually seems like everyone was snapped for the photo at once. This means that there were no individual moments spliced together using PhotoShop, and it makes for a far more natural image than we would have seen otherwise. Also, placing the teachers together and the McKinley graduates somewhere else adds to the fun.

While you do get to see Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Naya Rivera, Darren Criss, and more in the photo, we do realize that there are also some omissions in here. For example, where in the world is Dianna Agron, Harry Shum Jr., or Jayma Mays? The simple answer is that either these three were too busy to appear, or they have extremely minor roles (if that) in the final season. We know that they’ve all had some other projects that they have been working on; Mays was in particular a regular on “The Millers” until it was canceled suddenly a little bit earlier in the fall.

This season of “Glee” will premiere come Friday, January 9, and we are going to have a whole lot more news before then. The final 13 episodes are designed to be mostly about arts education, but should also be fun at the same time.
