‘Glee’ season 6: See Darren Criss perform with ‘The Voice’s’ Mia Pfirrman

Blaine -It has to be hard to be eliminated from “The Voice” before you get a chance to really get deep into the live shows, but some would say that performing with Darren Criss more than makes up for it.

This is what happened to contestant Mia Pfirrman this weekend, as she had a chance to perform Katy Perry’s “Unconditionally” at the Trevor Live! event benefiting The Trevor Project with the “Glee” star. You can see the full video below (brought to our attention by Mjsbigblog), and it certainly gives both singers a chance to shine and then some.

In some ways, both Pfirrman and Criss have connections to this song. This is what Mia auditioned with on “The Voice” earlier this season, which is where she ultimately selected Adam Levine to be her coach. Meanwhile, Criss has a history performing many Perry songs, and it is basically his performance of “Teenage Dream” as Blaine that really propelled him and his character on “Glee” to stardom.

Also, this song lines up very well with what the Trevor Project does in helping LGBTQ youth find a voice and feel accepted.

You are going to get a chance to see Darren again on your TV sets come Friday, January 9, which is when the sixth and final season of “Glee” premieres on Fox. He also hosted Logo TV’s NewNowNext Awards recently, which aired this weekend, as well.

Meanwhile, the final two rounds of “The Voice” this season start on Monday night, where the remaining five singers all fight for their place in the competition.
