‘Better Call Saul’ trailer: The seediest hotel room ever

Somehow, “Better Call Saul” has found a way to create quite possibly the greatest trailer for itself that it could have ever hoped for, and for proof of this very thing, there’s only one thing that you have to do: Take a look at the video below.

This is the first trailer released by AMC that actually has the premiere date of Sunday, February 8 attached to it, and from the vibrating bed to all of the booze to the open phone book, almost all of it seems appropriate. It is interesting that the phone book is specifically open to a Saul Goodman advertisement, given that the character is actually going to begin this season as Jimmy McGill, an up-and-coming attorney.

There have been a variety of different rumors and misconceptions about this show almost since the very beginning, and with the utmost honesty, it is going to be rather hard to disprove a whole lot of them. For the time being, though, what we can at least tell you is that this is going to be a drama rather than a comedy, you will see at least one other familiar face from the “Breaking Bad” world in Mike, and that this show has been given a two-season order a head of time, just to ensure that it is given all of the time that it needs in order to be a fantastic hit for the network.

As for what we’ve heard, the rumor that we are the most intrigued by is that one that this show could be both a prequel and sequel in ways to “Breaking Bad,” but the network and the producers are not saying a whole lot on that.

As we reported recently, the show is going to be airing Monday nights at 10:00 p.m. following its premiere episode, and we’ll have some further news soon.
