‘Gotham’ episode 10 (fall finale) preview: Ben McKenzie’s Gordon gets a new gig in ‘LoveCraft’
After an episode of “Gotham” that really put most of its emphasis on the Wayne murders, and some of the characters we’ve already met, it is possible that the show will continue that direction on next week’s “LoveCraft.”
With that being said, Fox is not being altogether liberal when it comes to the amount of information that they are sharing right now. The biggest revelations for Ben McKenzie and company (if you can even call them revelations at all) can be found in the official synopsis below:
“Following a misstep, Gordon is reassigned to duty at Arkham Asylum. Meanwhile, Selina (Camren Bicondova) leads a new friend on a perilous journey through Gotham to evade the assassins after her.”
We’re glad to see that Selina is getting a chance to do more when it comes to material, but we just hope that is is worthwhile. So far, our biggest problem with the character is that the show has tried a little too hard to push her, and at times when they really don’t even need to. Sometimes, it is more than acceptable to just let the story build slowly and surely. The only thing that we don’t hope for is more monologues from Kyle about what it means to really survive in the city of Gotham. We get it; life on the streets is touch.
We are getting the end of the fall half of the “Gotham” season, so stay tuned: We’re going to have so much more scoop on the show moving forward.
