‘Survivor: San Juan del Sur’ episode 7 preview: Are Reed and Josh in trouble?

Reed Kelly -The merge is here on next week’s “Survivor: San Juan del Sur” episode, and for however much complaining that we have done as of late when it comes to the predictable nature of this season, things are about to become truly insane.

In the sneak peek below (at the end of the “Survivor Live” video), you can already get the sense that a battle is shaping up between Josh and Jeremy, who have both played extremely dominant games so far in different ways. They have worked hard to get many people on their side, and seem to understand the game well enough to know how certain twists and turns work.

The one thing that they are unfortunately missing right now is that they would be so much stronger together than they will be alone. If Jeremy gets rid of the other strong strategists, he becomes a much larger target. This is why, if we were him, we would want to find a way to get either Reed or Josh gone, act like you had nothing to do with it, and try to befriend the other. You have to split the pair up, but then work with the one who remains and will be somewhat-scrambling.

Personally, we feel like Reed will likely be the first target. He’s a huge competition threat, and it will be easier to convince people to vote him out.

The real winners our of all of this, though, are the foursome of Jaclyn, Jon, Baylor, and Missy. If the new Hunahpu tribe cannibalizes itself, then they can run almost run the table deep in the game. The loved ones will not turn on each other, and that means an opportunity to stay together for a very long time until at least final five (that’s when you want to get a three-person black to destroy the other two).
