ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 4, episode 7 preview: Kerry Washington, Bellamy Young in ‘Baby Made a Mess’

Next week, “Scandal” is going to air an episode that may be our favorite title of the entire series: “Baby Made a Mess.” This one is going to be intense for a variety of different reasons, and with one of the biggest ones being that Jake is still going to be facing some massive trouble courtesy of the accusations against him.

Is Olivia Pope going to find any other option in order to save Jake Ballard? Well, she is going to have to figure it out pretty soon. Kerry Washington is going to have a great story ahead, but so is Bellamy Young as Mellie starts to make some serious moves now that she is somewhat out of mourning.

“Olivia, still unable to believe that Jake is guilty, sets her eyes on Tom for additional information, and when Leo Bergen’s newest client causes a gut wrenching reaction, her associates spring into action. Meanwhile, Huck continues to play with fire, Mellie makes a power move and Elizabeth’s shocking alliance is revealed.”

Do we expect some further surprises? Definitely, if for no reason than that we are getting closer and closer to the November sweeps. This is the time, after all, when the vast majority of shockers are brought to the table.
