‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 8 spoilers: Prom, and Wolowitz’s cousin
Every now and then, “The Big Bang Theory” chooses to surprise us with some of what they decide to do. In this instance, this includes surprising us by having a prom in the middle of the fall.
We’re not entirely sure just yet what the motivation or the reasoning was behind the show’s upcoming “The Prom Equivalency” airing on Thursday, October 30, but the focus here is going to be on the gang trying to celebrate something that all of them (save for maybe Penny) probably had very little experience of back during high school. Of course, with this comes Sheldon being incredibly neurotic about the whole thing.
Take a look at the attached synopsis below to get a few more details:
“When the gang recreates a high school prom on the roof the of the guys’ apartment building, Sheldon feels pressure to participate in all the typical romantic traditions.”
So who are the guest stars this time around? Laura Spencer will be making another appearance as Raj’s current love interest Emily, and this also happens to be the episode where Kara Luiz is going to stop by as Jeanie, a certain cousin of Howard’s who happens to be the same one that he supposedly lost his virginity to. So when he ends up seeing her at the party, and with his most-recent nemesis Stuart in arm, things are probably going to become incredibly awkward incredibly quickly.
Then again, isn’t this the sort of stuff that really makes this show so entertaining? In the end, we do like to think so.
