‘Hart of Dixie’ season 4 notes: Rachel Bilson, Scott Porter, and still waiting
This weekend is a light one when it comes to “Hart of Dixie” news, but then again, we could say that when it comes to just about all TV news in general.
However, we do have at least a couple of fun little notes related to the show, starting with a new wrap-party photo posted on the Instagram for series star Scott Porter. Basically, it’s more proof that himself, Rachel Bilson, and the rest of the cast were all happy to toast the achievements of keeping the show on the air for four seasons. Bilson should be welcoming her first child very soon, so we will be on the lookout for reports of it.
Meanwhile, we’ve also got a funny Twitter response from Porter all about a recent interview, where he and Wilson Bethel explained that “Hart of Dixie” hasn’t been officially canceled yet, but they were preparing themselves (hence some recent messages) in the event that it was. That way, you get the entire experience of closure, regardless of whether or not the network keeps you on the air. If the ratings are strong enough, a season 5 could very well happen.
One thing that is going to be very interesting to us right now about the fourth season is this: Whether or not many of the diehard Netflix binge-watchers of the show end up crossing over and seeing it live on The CW. We hear constantly about people who burn through “Hart of Dixie” on there, and this could make a difference!
