‘Glee’ season 6 spoilers: Naya Rivera on return of Heather Morris, more

“Glee” season 6 is getting closer to winding down, and that means for us a chance to speculate more and more on some of the futures for the cast members.

When it comes to Brittany and Santana, though, this one has been pretty spelled out already. Is there a reason to be super-excited about their future? Based on the reports that are out there right now, it seems like anyone who is a fan of these two is going to be very happy.

While Naya Rivera is not really saying too much in terms of specifics, the actress tells Glamour in a new interview that having Heather Morris around is going to allow for so many more opportunities to tell a fun story between the two characters:

“Heather [Morris] is back full time. The fans love Britana so much, and I really think we should give them something sweet and wrap it up in a nice way. Her relationship with Brittany is the biggest thing aside from her career … I think everybody will be happy with what happens.”

Do we personally feel like we’re going to be satisfied with what happens between these two? Probably, but we feel that way with most of the characters. The part of “Glee” that dropped the ball potentially was the part that got us to this point. The last two seasons of the show have been a mess and then some, which has put the series in the difficult position of trying to salvage everything now and give the endings that the fans want and deserve.
