‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2 spoilers: Check out Adrianne Palicki’s Bobbi Morse in tactical suit!

For those who were insanely curious as to how Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD” was going to transform Bobbi Morse (Adrianne Palicki) into her alter ego of Mockingbird, we’ve now got one of your first looks at what to expect.

The photo below comes via Marvel themselves, and it features the character in a tactical suit that reasonably closely resembles what she eventually comes to wear during the comics. The white is replaced by notes of gray, but it feels overall like they’ve captured some of the essence of the Mockingbird character while fitting her into the stealthy world that has been created by Phil Coulson and company. Which the exact number of episodes we’re going to see Palicki in is currently unclear, this image basically serves as proof that she is going to have a little bit more to do before she ends up going away.

Ultimately, we just hope that this is enough to convince some of the casual comic fans to continue watching, given that much of the show’s much-hyped steam going into next week was ruined by the trailer for “The Avengers: Age of Ultron” leaking early on the internet. Had that not happened, we imagine that the show would’ve been able to pull in at least a few movie fans desperate to see that. Maybe, in the process they could have realized that this show has improved by leaps and bounds since the last time that they probably watched last season.
