‘Bones’ season 10 spoilers: A surprising story for 200th episode

Just in case you are chomping at the bit already to find out some details about the upcoming 200th episode of “Bones,” we’ve already got a few details that should have you very intrigued to find out what is coming around the bend.

The biggest thing to be aware of right now is that this is going to be no ordinary episode. Instead, it’ll be a tribute to one of the greatest directors ever in Alfred Hitchcock! David Boreanaz will be directing this installment, which will place the show’s conceptually in the 1950s. Speaking to TVLine, executive producer Stephen Nathan had the following to say about it:

“It’s not an alternate reality, it’s as if Booth and Brennan existed in this world — would they still get together? Everyone is sort of playing their own characters.”

So basically, it is a “Bones” episode, just in a different time and with some different circumstances because of it. This should be fun! Nathan also promises that there will be some surprise guest stars that turn up, and hopefully we’ll find out some more about them in the weeks ahead. At the moment, though, there is no point in letting the cat out of the bag early and ruining a whole lot of the fun.

We do really hope that this is an episode that focuses more on the entertainment value, given that we are still working to get ourselves over the death of Sweets. We know it’s just a TV show, but it still gets to us! Plus, we feel like the charm of this show and the characters is what made it such a hit in the first place.
