MTV’s ‘Awkward’ season 4, episode 16 preview: Tamara, Jenna’s actions come back to haunt them

Where are we going next on “Awkward“?  Well, let’s just say that no deed goes unpunished.

When Jenna and Tamara were upset about the phone book that rated girls on the Palos Hills campus, they decided to go “eye for an eye” when it comes to revenge. They made a dude database online, but it wasn’t before long (and after Matty burned the phone book) when it started to go viral. Basically, this was what the guys did, but on another level and therefore so much worse.

So the reverberations of this will come back to haunt both of these two, and it also impacts other characters to go along with it. Matty’s new love interest Gabby is going to look the other way from him after learning that he is apparently a “player.” Meanwhile, we have to wonder what Owen will do when he learns that Jenna had a hand in creating this. He may be obsessing over her right now, but in time, that could change when he learns that she is no angel.

We are progressing near the end of this season, and we therefore have many questions to ponder, including if there will be a romantic reunion of sorts for Jenna and Matty, if Jenna will get accepted into a different school, and if Lissa and Sadie are ever going to see some sort of stability in their lives. (Somehow, Lissa was not even in the installment tonight.)
