‘Agents of SHIELD’ season 2, episode 5 preview: Adrianne Palicki’s Bobbi Morse and more

Want to see the potential beginnings of the Mockingbird story? Then next week’s new episode of Marvel’s “Agents of SHIELD” may be right up your alley. Adrianne Palicki is going to have a prominent role as Bobbi Morse, who you may also come to know eventually as Mockingbird.

While we cannot say too much in terms of specifics, the synopsis below gives you at least a slight idea of what you can expect:

“Coulson’s team is up against the beautiful and deadly Bobbi Morse–Security Chief for Hydra. Meanwhile, Skye’s father forces Raina to reunite him with his daughter at any cost.”

Regardless of what happens in this episode, we have a hard time imagining that Palicki is going to be going anywhere permanently after this episode wraps. Mockingbird is a great character within the Marvel universe, and we’re still hoping that she turns up in one of the movies, let alone the show.

The promo below chooses to above all focus on one thing: Simmons being in danger. Serious danger. This mission that she’s on is in many ways part of the job, but this is probably not a part of the job that she was really hoping to see at any point in the near future.

The one thing that we are eagerly awaiting through all of this in the end is what happens when and if Simmons is reunited with the team … and what it means for Fitz.
